About Employment Screening

Our Checks

The employment screening checks undertaken by RISQ can be grouped into the following categories:

Personal Enquiries

Verification of information supplied by the candidate, such as:

previous employment;
tertiary and professional qualifications; and
affiliations with professional associations

In each instance, we contact the relevant organisation directly to obtain the required information.

Document Enquiries

Verification of identification documents provided by the candidate,
such as:

birth certificates;
visas; and
drivers' licences

In each instance, we contact the relevant organisation directly to obtain the required confirmation.

Database Enquiries

Searches of various local and international public, regulatory and proprietary databases, to ascertain whether there is any adverse mention of the candidate or conflicts which may affect the candidate's ability to successfully meet their duties and responsibilities. Examples include:

criminal history;
bankruptcy;
media;
officeholder; and
litigation searches

Curriculum Vitae Analysis A comprehensive review and comparison of the candidate's curriculum vitae and application form against our employment screening findings and other information provided by the candidate to identify any unexplained gaps, anomalies, inconsistencies and discrepancies.

Our Online Solutions

In response to the growing number of clients who were based outside of Australia, RISQ pioneered a system that allowed all of our clients real time access to screening requests they had requested 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This system ensures our clients have secure, online access to their requests which are currently in progress, allowing them to report back to key stakeholders at all times.

Our International Capabilities

RISQ has extensive experience in undertaking Employment Screening checks around the world and we have a number of clients with international offices that are serviced by RISQ's Employment Screening team based in Australia. Our experience extends throughout the Asia Pacific, Europe, America, Africa and the Caribbean.
